Marine AFC U7s are part of one of the UKs best-loved non-league football clubs.
The Mini Mariners, who’s senior team plays in the Unibond Northern Premier League, began their first season together in the Bootle and Litherland League where they finished third, 3 points behind the eventual winners, in a very competitive and high quality league. They have a great bunch of boys who have earned the respect and admiration from all the other teams and coaches in the league and have shown on their day that Marine are a match for any team.
The team have been very fortunate to receive the backing from several people particularly Counterline who kindly donated the necessary funds for the team to purchase hooded tops for the entire squad, which were a godsend during the winter months.
The team are currently riding high at the top of the Hightown summer league and capped a tremendous first season together last week, coming runners-up in Everton FC’s Academy tournament, which began back in February with 60 teams taking part from throughout the North West Region.
